The curriculum in English and Language Arts explores to produce students with a real love for words. During our process of written and oral usage, students experience, explore, and experiment with the dimensions of language to express ideas and views clearly, with an array of different tones and voices.
As a school, we challenge our students to read and write creative, logical, and expository writings, in order to promote their learning. Students learn to examine the significant impact of figurative language as it introduces themes and topics with rich nuance, ambiguity, and complexity.
Considering some of the enduring questions of the human experience through the lens of stories, poems, and plays, from diverse cultures and eras, students will attract into increasingly sharper focus the critical significance of knowledge, truth, virtue, love, and beauty to their own lives.
